Welcome to the latest issue of ClubRiada - we hope you had a terrific Christmas and New Year. The update to RiadaHeadline is now available, and on behalf of everyone at Riada, I'd like to thank you for your suggestions and feedback that have contributed to the latest version. - New Version of RiadaHeadline Released: 1stRiadaHeadline 1.10
The premier product for displaying text on the internet, now offers even greater choice and ease of use when incorporating dynamic headlines into web sites. Below are details of just some of what's new in 1stRiadaHeadline.
* Headlines are not limited to text - company logos and other images can now be included as headlines, backgrounds and even foreground masks for really impressive 3-D results! All these images can be animated, and headline styles also include horizontal lines.
* More flexible Dynamic Text formats that now update while headlines are actually scrolling (not just with each re-display), help make your information even more timely - simply embed a current date and time format (GMT also available).
* Display information in a larger variety of styles than ever before with many more Typed, Smooth and Fade combinations, for color transitions in scrolling text headlines and other special effects.
* You can even add buttons to your projects, allowing your visitors to scroll headlines up or down.
* More border styles and color options to help you perfectly integrate projects into your web pages.
* Want to group together different headlines containing links, images, lines or different fonts? Easy - just use the new Block feature.
* The pre-emptive context sensitive Help displayed will automatically change as you move around the product, guiding you while you work.
* 1stRiadaHeadline's new graphical user interface means it's even easier to create headlines with just a click of button - no HTML or Java parameter editing to get in the way of your imagination.
1stRiadaHeadline is free for use on a single unique domain while displaying embedded Riada advertisements. To remove these advertisements, a Standard Domain Registration License can be purchased for $34AUD (approx. $21US) and used on up to 5 unique domains. Or an Unlimited Domain Registration License can be purchased for $61AUD (approx. $39US) and used on as many domains as you like.

- Free Update for RiadaHeadline Users
An Unlimited Domain Registration License of 1stRiadaHeadline 1.10 is free to registered users of RiadaHeadline 1.03 or earlier. To obtain your free copy of the update, simply download 1stRiadaHeadline from the Riada web site at http://www.riada.com/Download, install and re-enter your Customer ID, Registration Name and Registration Key into the product's Registration dialog box, as per your original registration email sent by Riada. If you no longer have a copy of your registration details, please email sales@riada.com.
As version 1.10 of 1stRiadaHeadline introduces many changes and new features, projects created with previous versions of the product may be affected. To ensure your existing projects function correctly, you must generate a new HTML segment to include in your page. This involves re-publishing pages created with previous versions of the product as well as uploading new class files and compressed class files, when you re-publish your project.
If you have projects which read data files as input, you must re-create these files and upload them to your server (along with the new HTML code segment and class files). If you generate these input files with some other application (eg. CGI), you must change your script to produce the new format.
- New Build of RiadaButton: Now Much Faster!
An update (Build 38) to Riada's dynamic web page buttons product, RiadaButton 1.0, that overcomes performance problems arising from Netscape Communicator 4.5 and offers significant speed enhancements, is available from the Riada web site. Customers that are not already registered users of RiadaButton, can find more information about the product at http://www.riada.com/Products/RiadaButton
- Free Update for RiadaButton Users
The update (Build 38) of RiadaButton 1.0 can be downloaded from the Riada web site at http://www.riada.com/Download and is free to existing registered users of RiadaButton. Just install!
- RiadaButton Continues to Impress!
RiadaButton has scored a whopping five stars from the software library at ZDNet, one of the biggest and best IT news sites on the internet! Not sure which product to use for that navigation panel on your web page? Then read their review of RiadaButton at http://hotfiles.zdnet.com - type RiadaButton into the search box and click on the link that appears.
