Welcome to the June issue of ClubRiada. Wow, thank you for your overwhelming response to our new web site launched last January. Whilst the majority of feedback was extremely positive, a large number of customers did not like the look and feel of the site at all, so our design team was sent back to the drawing board. Please take a look at their latest offering and thank you again for your invaluable contribution.

*Registration Problems*

If your Riada product will not accept its registration details and displays the "The registration information supplied was incorrect" message, then follow these simple steps for a quick resolution.

First, check to make sure that you're entering the information from the registration confirmation email we sent you, into the correct areas of the product's Register... dialog box:

1. The information besides "Name: " needs to be entered into the Name field (not the Organization field).

2. The information besides "Registration Key: " needs to be entered into the Registration Key field.

3. The information besides "Customer ID: " needs to be entered into the Customer ID field.

Information in the Organization field is optional.

Second, with each of these items of information, we strongly suggest that you copy them straight from the registration confirmation email, and paste them directly into the Register... dialog box. To do this, highlight the text with your mouse and press CTRL-C to copy the text, then click in the field and press CTRL-V to paste the text. This ensures that there have been no typing mistakes, which is the most common reason for problems. Also, this ensures that you are not typing a 1 instead of an I or a 0 instead of an O.

Lastly, please ensure that you're actually registering the correct product. Occasionally, we have found that a customer has purchased a product, but has also downloaded one of our other products, and has not noticed that they are trying to enter the registration details into the wrong product.

KJCT8.com
This Colorado, USA, TV station has incorporated four different Riada products on its web site. RiadaBillboard is used as a slideshow of pictures of Western Colorado (front page masthead), as well as for advertisements in the interior pages. RiadaHeadline displays its programming schedule on the main page, and on the Community Calendar page, it displays upcoming events from local non-profit organizations. RiadaForm is also used on the Community Calendar page to accept event submissions. Lastly, RiadaButton provides the Top Stories banner on the main page as well as a navigation menu to other pages. http://www.kjct8.com

x-electronics
Using RiadaButton, this Dutch company provides a text based menu page. Move your mouse over any of the links surrounding the mobile phone images and a topic summary appears (Tool Tips feature) then click on the link to view the actual page. The company logo (also using RiadaButton) takes you back to the main page at any time. http://www.x-electronics.nl

Hobbs Parker
Based in Kent, England, this company of surveyors and estate agents uses two RiadaHeadline projects along the top of its site's main page. Both are generated by Perl scripts which read the data from files which are updated from an Access database on their in-house office systems, and are automatically uploaded to the website several times each day. http://www.hobbsparker.co.uk/home_f1.htm

Southern California Society of Association Executives
The site is a resource for association executives and suppliers, and has incorporated RiadaHeadline into a graphic of a portable movie screen. Scrolling headlines provide links to downloadable forms and legislation as well as a schedule of events. http://www.scsae.org

Winners of Gold Awards each receive a free registered copy of any current Riada software title of their choice, and a link to their site and a congratulatory note is also published on the *FRONT PAGE OF THE RIADA WEB SITE*. All winners receive Gold trophy image to display on their Riada enabled web site and they are also highlighted in the ClubRiada section on the Riada web site. Submissions to RiadaGallery are eligible and entries are assessed in terms of originality, usefulness and style with which Riada products are applied.
